The purpose of this study is to investigate the practice of AEDIBESO support cluster school's inrnattaining the innovation of eRe in Addis Ababa. The practice of cluster schools which mainlyrninvolve in-service teachers' professional development, practice of cluster schools as a center ofrnexcellence and teachers practice in implementing the innovation is given attention in the study.rnThe study encompasses four sub-cities in Addis Ababa in whichfour cluster resource centers andrntwelve satellite schools were made part of the discussion in the report. The approach used tornstudy the problem is mixed method with knowledge claims of pragmatic assumptions, where asrnthe design used in the report is sequential exploratory which is one of the strategies of mixedrnmethod.rnIn phase one of the analysis,' qualitative data collection and analysis, where as in phase two,rnquantitative data collection and analysis was presented. Finally the entire data is mixed andrnintegrated in the study for analysis and interpretation.rnThe study in its findings reflect that the innovation in most of the cluster schools was successfulrnin attaining active learning, continuous assessment, female student participation, improvingrndropout rates, and pass rates in the teaching learning process. On the other hand, lack ofrnstructuring eRe organ and attaching responsibility (accountability) to the practice of clusterrnschool innovation affected the positive out-come of the intervention. Lack of monitoring andrnfollow -up from the concerned officials also had its negative influence on the proper functioningrnof cluster resource centers.rnThe study, therefore, recommends that the innovation would be more productive in studentsrnlearning if more attention and emphasis be given to clustering school practices. Again, the resultrnof the report shows that it is advisable to work for the improvement of monitoring and follow-uprnwhich has great effect in promoting the out-come of the innovation. The result of the studyrnreminds Addis Ababa education bureau to create its organ of eRe for the better practice of eRernenvironment
