The achievement goal of the TVET program will be questionable if thernmajority of the teachers are dissatisfied with their job and assessment ofrnfactors that affect these conditions would not be regarded as centralrnconcern. It would, therefore, be useful to identify the major factors that affectrnTVET teachers' job satisfaction. The objective of this study was torninvestigate the level of middle level government TVET Institutes teachers' jobrnsatisfaction in Addis Ababa. To conduct this study, a descriptive surveyrnmethod was employed with sample of 90 (N=:;90). For this purpose,rnquestionnaire, interview and observation were used as an . instrument torncollect the data. Data collected through these instruments' were analyzedrnusing different graphs and percentage. The designed questions werernintended to find factors that affect middle level government TVET teachers'rnjob satisfaction . Factors such as opportunity for promotion, adequate salary,rngood working conditions, improvement and skill development were some ofrnthe issues focused on to carry out the study of job satisfaction among thernTVET teachers. Finally, based on these findings, some recommendationsrnare forwarded as to how all the concerned bodie~ can play vital role tornreduce the TVET teachers' job dissatisfaction and enhance their satisfaction.
