Vegetation of Choke Mountain was studied. Vegetation data of sixtyrnsample plots from five transects were taken from October to Novemberrn1999. These were subjected to cluster analysis by distance optimization.rnFive distinct clusters were obtained. Soil Samples were also collected andrnanalyzed. Results of so il analyses and other environmental variables wererncompared among clusters. Total nitrogen, exchangeable potassium, rnpercent particle fractions, altitude and slope showed significant differencernamong clusters. Based on the investigation, Recommendation towards thernconservation of natural Vegetation of the area is also given .
