This study empirically examines the relationship between job satisfaction and employeesrnturnover intention of NICE insurance. The major purpose of this study is to find out thernfactors influencing on the high turnover rate of NICE insurance employees. In the currentrncompetitive environment it is very essential to have satisfied, competent and committedrnstaff for better chance of meeting the overall objectives of the organization. The study usedrnboth primary and secondary source of data. A quantitative research approach of the datarncollection method has been used in the study. 134 questionnaires were distributed to thernrespondents and 109 completed and usable questionnaires have been returned. Stratifiedrnrandom sampling technique was used to select the sample size and employees werernselected from each stratum with simple random sampling technique. Data was analyzedrnusing descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis by using spss. The result ofrnthe study point out that there is negative and weak relationships between nature of the job;rnco-workers relationship; supervisors satisfaction; and company benefit. The study also findrnout that employee pay have significant relationship with turnover intention. Furthermorernother job opportunities also have significant and positive relationship with employeernturnover intention. The study also finds out that job satisfaction factors have 20.9% ofrninfluence on the rate of turnover of the company. So the management of the companyrnshould actively involved on retention of existing employees by making frequent revision ofrnsalary scale of the company and enhancing the benefit scheme of the company. In additionrnto this there should be other studies regarding other job satisfaction variables, which wasrnnot included in this research, to identify their influence on turnover intention of therncompany.
