The purpose of this study was to study about the effect of employee relation on job satisfaction in Dashen bank S.C Addis Ababa area. Employee relation is one of the main human resources management practices. It leads the organization to build attractive strategy to hold effective and talented employees. This study is conducted to find out the effect of employee relation on job satisfaction in case of Dashen Bank S.C. The study deployed an explanatory design in which a cluster sampling method was used to collect data from professional employees of Dashen Bank S.C found in branches under the four districts of Addis Ababa and the head office. The sample method was probability sampling, under this method proportional cluster sampling is used and the respondents are selected by simple random sampling. The data was collected from primary and secondary sources by using self-administrative questionnaires and from different documented files. The data analysis method was Explanatory and Descriptive analysis. Accordingly, 307 questionnaires were distributed and 282 were obtained & used for further analysis. The collected data was analyzed using Spss software version 25.In addition, to analyze the collected data descriptive statistics (frequencies, means & standard deviations), ANOVA, correlation& multiple regression analysis were used. The results was analysis the effect of independent variables (communication, employee voice, conflict & grievance handling and work place) on dependent variable (Job satisfaction). In addition, it was found that all variables have significant effect on dependent variable. Result obtain from the respondent their work place gave high level satisfaction but employee voice, communication and conflict & grievance shows the respondent perceived low level of satisfaction in Dashen Bank. The study has revealed that there is a moderate but positive relation between Employee Voice, communication and work places but in conflict & grievance handling shows a weak but positive relation: Work place has positive relation with job satisfaction. Those factors to be monitored and improved are conflict and grievance handling between employer and employee and among employees, the bank need standard to monitor the conflict resolution on sides, respect and fair treatment from both sides, honest feedbacks from both sides
