This study is an account for the development of Silt’e as a medium of instruction. The thesisrnconsists of five chapters. This chapter is an introduction where the geography, language andrnpeople of Silt’e, the problem, the objectives, the significance and the limitation of the study arernstated. Discussions of the theoretical and methodological preliminaries are provided in the thirdrnchapter. The fourth chapter, which is the main body of this work, deals with results andrndiscussions. The last chapter summarizes the discussions in the foregoing chapters and providesrnrecommendation on the implementations
