Patient satisfaction is characterized as a subjective and complex concept, including physical,rnemotional, mental, social, and social components. Globally, increasing thoughts has beenrngiven to the evaluation of patient satisfaction as a strategy of observing for the quality ofrnhealth care provision in the health care institutions. Quantitative institutional based crossrnsectional study was conducted and a total of 422 elective surgical patients from 3 publicrnhospitals at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia were included. Study participants were allocatedrnproportionally based on the average surgery done per month in selected hospitals. Data wererncollected using pre-tested and interviewed structured questionnaires.
