Back Ground: Hypothermia defined as a core body temperature less than 36 crn. It is a frequentrncondition encountered in pediatric patients operated under general anesthesia. It is one of the rncommon event during surgery &can have different consequences that increase perioperativernmorbidity & mortality. rnObjective: To assess magnitude and associated factors of intra-operative hypothermia amongrnpediatric patients undergoing elective surgery at selected public hospitals in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia rnfrom February - April, 2021. rnMethod: Institutional based cross sectional study was conduct on 339 pediatric patientsrnundergoing elective surgery at public hospitals in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from February - April, rn2021. Study participants were selected by systematic random sampling technique. The datarncollection procedure was Chart review and intra -operative temperature measurement &collectedrndata were analyzed by SPSS version 26. The Independent variables, were analyze using binaryrn&multi logistic regression. Odds ratio, 95% confidence interval, and p-value of
