The main objective of the study was to assess the state constitution and its implementation on therneducational rights of persons with disability in Damot Woide Woreda in some selected primaryrnschool. So as to address its own basic research questions which were,rnTo what extent does the state constitution has been exercised and promoted by the localrngovernment to properly address the rights of PWD education?rnAre they practically implemented ?. Does the practice of state constitution implementation at thernlocal level been contributing to effectively address the rights of PWD education?rnWhat are the challenges and prospects of implementation of the state constitution at local levelrnto effectively address the rights of PWD education?rnWhat the contributions of supervision on local level state constitution implementation forrnaddressing the rights of PWD?rnIn order to achieve the purpose of the study, purposive sampling techniques were employed tornobtain the data. The data were collected through interviews, focus group discussionsrnobservations check least and case study. Relevant data had been selected with employment ofrndescriptive qualitative method to data analysis had been done. To show background of thernrespondants, the researcher had used the table in chapter 4.rnAccordingly it had identified that the state and regional constitution implementation by the localrnadministration in the Damot Weide Wereda regard to securing PWDS educational right wasrnchallenged with various short coming problems. That included: shortage of allocated budget,rnlack of inclusive education school, shortage of pland and quantifiable institutional support,rnpresence of unsuitable infrastructure for PWDS learners as well as, absence of required imputsrnparticularly educational aid materials that had been specially designed and could be usedrnduring the lesson delivery to PWDS education.
