Background: Induced abortion occurs in great numbers throughout the world. Repeat inducedrnabortion accounts for a substantial proportion of all induced abortion in many countries, withrnreports ranging from 22% to 77% (1, 2). The risks on subsequent pregnancies of repeat inducedrnabortion are reported to be higher than those of the first induced abortion.
