This paper focuses on role model and role modeling impact on undergraduate medical students and medical rnteachers encountered in the School of Medicine, College of Health Sciences at Addis Ababa University. rnTo become successful in their education path and future endeavors, academic members have to proceed rnwith extensive phases with several potential role models. Students and teachers agreed on the lack of a rnpositive influence in terms of integrity, respect, and motivation. The paper analyzes a highly unpopular rntopic that silently affected the academic member morale and efficiency. It incorporated different hypotheses rntoward role-modeling assessed from the formal and informal study. The study identified two-perception rnphases: teachers, and students; with a precise analogy of positive modeling, negative modeling, and role rnmodeling. Based on the causes and effects emphasized in the paper, the appointed problems were not rnadequately addressed earlier. The difficulties might continue and harm the audacity of the students and rnteachers to join the medical school when the country's demand rises.
