ere has been pressure to improve performance of public healthcare services and constraints onrnpublic budget, to innovate and improve coordination of information, material and financial flowrnin order to improve the traditional supply chain performance measures like cost, quality andrncustomer service. The objective of this study is to assess relevance of supply chain performancernmeasurement dimensions and test their effects on the performance of Ethiopian PharmaceuticalsrnSupply Agency’s Integrated Pharmaceuticals Logistics System. Descriptive research design andrnExplanatory research have been used for the study. Results indicate that six of the twelvernindependent variables of the three dimensions (organization and process benefits, financialrnbenefits and set up and operating costs), technological investment (95.8%), safety (95.7%), pricerntrend (93%), standardization (91%), staff specialization (87.3%) and warehouse managementrn(78.57%) are relevant and have statistically strong effect on performance measurement ofrnIntegrated Pharmaceutical Logistics System in their order of influence. The study concludesrnESTAV is suitable framework for the agency’s Logistics System performance measurement. Thernstudy recommended that EPSA should keep up rolling out IPLS to lowest level of facilities tornimprove overall supply chain performance. Moreover, safety issues to be considered as anrnimportant anchor of health system supply chain performance measures, cold chain issues andrnadequately qualified pharmacists and professionals are suggested to be addressed. Finally, thernacademia is also suggested to test relevance of the ESTAV framework from service deliveryrnfacilities side.
