Background: Human papillomaviruses are a big group of highly ubiquitous, small viruses. Itrnis a sexually transmitted disease. Both women and men are rapidly exposed to it after the onsetrnof sexual intercourse. Even though, parents have an important role in the decision-makingrnprocess regarding the HPV vaccination for their child. Less emphasis is given to theirrnknowledge and attitude towards HPV vaccine; mainly to mothers.rnObjective: To assess the level of knowledge and attitude towards human papillomavirusrnvaccine and associated factors among mothers who have eligible daughters in Debre Markosrntown, Northwest Ethiopia, 2021 rnMethods: A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted among 601 mothers whornhave eligible daughters and selected by consecutive sampling technique from Februaryrn16/2021 to March 16/2021. The data was collected by using face-to-face interviewrnadministration and entered into EPI data version 3.1 then, exported to SPSS version 25 forrnanalysis. Variables with a p-value of < 0.25 in bivariate were a candidate for multivariate andrnthose variables with a p-value of
