Background:- Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is a spectrum of neurodevelopmental disordersrnoccurring early in childhood that is characterized by persistent deficits in social communicationrnand interaction and restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities. However,rnlimited knowledge among health care providers, poor community awareness, and a dearth ofrnspecialist care services are some of the issues confronting autism. rnObjective: - To assess knowledge, attitude and practice of pediatrics residents on autism spectrumrndisorder in three selected teaching hospitals in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia rnMethod: - Institutional based Cross-sectional study was done with facility based self-administeredrnquestion among pediatrics resident with sample size of 141.rnrnThe data were entered and analyzedrnby using SPSS version 25.
