This thesis presents a philological and content analysis of the Arabicrnmanuscript Kitābu Mawhibatu ḏil Wafā’ Bišarḥ Ḏāt aš-Šifā written by ŠayḫrnIbrāhīm Giše. The manuscript deals with the life and times of ProphetrnMuḥammad with comparative analysis of the achievements of otherrnprophets. Besides, it treats the life and times of the four successors of thernProphet (Al-Ḫulafā’).rnAccordingly, this study describes the philological and content feature of thernmanuscript, Kitābu Mawhibatu ḏil Wafā’ Bišarḥ Ḏāt aš-Šifā includingrntranslation and analysis of selected portions of the MS that deal with thernbiography of Prophet Muḥammad.
