In this project, we study the thermodynamic and statistical properties of thermal plasmarnusing the laws of thermodynamics and statistical physics. We studied plasma as a fourthrnstate of matter. We find the equations of electric potential of a test particles by usingrnpoisson equation. According to this criterion, the typical energy of interaction of chargedrnparticles in a plasma or interaction energy at the average distance between charged particlesrnis small compared with the internal energy of particles. In addition to this, we study aboutrnthermodynamic properties of plasma so the internal is small compered with the kinetic energyrnof charged particles of an ideal plasma. Moreover, we studied the internal partition functionrnof atomic species is obtained as the sum over the quantum states of atoms.
