This thesis brierny uses 2D scattering theory and Born approximation of scattering in 2Drnwith account of the interaction of magnetic moment of an electron and the nanomagnet.rnSince the electrons are fermions it has half integral spin either up or down.Due to this, thernscattering amplitudes in this problem are the component spinors. The electrons scatteredrnby the nanomagnet splits into two parts with opposite direction of spins. They are calcu-rnlated as functions of the electron spin orientation, the electron energy and the scatteringrnangle. In general this is the problem of elastic scattering i.e we don't consider when therninteracting particles are accompanied by a change of internal states. If we consider thernproblem as inelastic again it will be another area of research. It is known that the greatrnmystery in electronics is spin controlling method. So,this thesis considers 2D scatteringrnof an electron by a magnetized nanoparticle as one of controlling method of spin current.rnFinally theory and review literature parts are also carefully referred from di erent sourcesrnas described in reference part
