Modern psychotherapy is time-limited, focused, and usually occurs once a rnweek for 45-50 minutes per session. rnMethods- This qualitative study investigates clients’ perceptions of psychotherapy after rnpsychotherapy termination. Eight clients (5 female) and (3 male) who took psychotherapy in rnTikur Aabessa Specialized Hospital and Zewditu Memorial Hospital have participated. In-depth rnsemi-structured interviews were carried out to investigate the participants' perceptions of rnpsychotherapy after therapeutic termination. Audio recorded data was manually transcribed and rntranslated, then thematically analyzed. rnResult- Psychotherapy was perceived as positive it solved most of the participants' problems. rnThere were diverse perceptions of the helpfulness of psychotherapy. Most perceive it as very rnhelpful. Others perceived as to some extent it was helpful. There were also negative perceptions rnabout the termination of psychotherapy because they didn't aware before 3 or 4 sessions of rntermination of therapy. Most of the clients revealed their real problems by the 2rnof the therapy. rnConclusion- The study showed most clients have a positive perception of psychotherapy after rntherapeutic termination. More studies are needed about therapeutic factors and termination rnprocesses that have impacts on the outcome of psychotherapy. rnndrn or 3rnrdrn session
