Introduction: Globally, a significant proportion of healthcare providers and patients acquire nosocomial infections. Failure to perform appropriate hand hygiene is considered to be the leading cause of health care acquired infection worldwide. Simple random sampling system was used to select participants. Seven hundred eight health care professionals were included in the study.
