Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is an innovative ad-hoc network with distributedrnsensing and processing capacities made up of collection of sensor nodes. The sensorsrntransmit information to the sink. The routing protocols for WSNs are based mostlyrnon efficiency of energy and some deal with real-time requirements. In this paper, arncomparative study between Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH),rnStable Election Protocol (SEP) and Hierarchical Adaptive Balanced energy-efficientrnRouting Protocol (HABRP) would be conducted being heterogeneous sensors arernemployed in order to attain an energy-efficient routing protocol in the sensorrnnetwork field. The paper typically discusses an energy management of routingrnprotocol in order to attain the safety analysis of a railway track monitoring. A sensorrnnetwork in mesh topology has been used to detect the cracks with incorporatedrncamera embedded along the railway track for proper end-to-end data delivery withrnminimum communication energy. The simulation has been done by MATLABrnsoftware environment. On the design process of railway track failure monitoring ourrndesired routing protocol HABRP satisfies an improvement compared with LEACH byrn76%.This system furnishes a cheap, reliable, flexible, and intellectual alternative forrnthe existing system.
