This study was conducted to establish the prevalence and incidence of clinical and subclinicalrnMastitis in peri-urban and urban dmry production systems in and around Addis Ababa andrnDebre Zeit, Ethiopia. A questionnaire survey was also conducted to gain an insight in to thernfarming systems in operation, and to study some management and social factors that mayrnhave an influence on the occurrence of mastitis. The main aim of this study was torndemonstrate the effect of intensification (farm size in particular) on the Occurrence o f mastitis.
